We had an incredible time on Friday 25th October, as our British Dance Academy transformed into a vibrant jazz arena for our young dancers. With energy levels high and excitement in the air, our two jazz workshops; Jazz Explorers for ages 4-7 and Jazz Stars for ages 8-10, offered an unforgettable experience for our budding dancers. A huge thank you to Ms. Sophie for her expertise, warmth and creative choreography, which made the day truly special for everyone involved!
Jazz Explorers
The Jazz Explorers workshop welcomed our youngest dancers to the basics of jazz, emphasizing rhythm, coordination and expressive movement. Each young dancer had the chance to explore the joy of jazz dance in a friendly, engaging environment and their enthusiasm was nothing short of inspiring!
Jazz Stars
Later in the day, the Jazz Stars took the spotlight. This group of 8-10-year-olds delved into more advanced jazz techniques, learning intricate routines and working on fluidity, timing and performance skills. Watching their confidence soar with each step was fantastic and their dedication and focus made it clear they were fully immersed in the spirit of jazz!
